About Us
Our Story
This is where you can find out who we are, where we came from and what we stand for. This ladies and gentlemen is the Freedom story.
Who We Are
Freedoms are the U.K’s Favourite Lightweight Caravans, whether it’s a weekend in the Lake District or a year exploring mainland Europe, our caravans have been accompanying adventurers on their travels for over 30 years.
We measure our success in smiles, as the stories, letters and photos of our customers adventures are a thousand times greater than a quick sale. When you purchase a Freedom, whether it’s a new Jetstream or a Microlite which is celebrating it’s 30th birthday, you join a family of Freedom seekers throughout the world.
Freedom’s Theory Of Evolution
Freedoms have been a regular sight on European roads for over 30 years and during that time the basic silhouette of both shells hasn’t changed, well if it isn’t broken, don’t try to fix it. The changes throughout the years have been centred on the chassis and interior, ensuring that the latest technologies have been implemented whilst keeping our “Lightweight & Durable” ethos.
Today Freedom Caravans are fitted with heating systems that can be controlled from wherever you are in the world, electric movers to position your Freedom millimetre perfect, AKS 1300 Stabilisers to give you the best towing experience and tinted windows to keep prying eyes at bay. All packaged neatly in to the iconic Freedom design.
Here For The Long Run
A Freedom is your long-term companion, not a holiday romance. The complete fibreglass construction of a Freedom’s shell leaves you with a body that has no unnecessary gaps or joins, only the essentials like a door… and windows. This means that, long after a conventionally constructed caravan has gone to the big caravan park in the sky, your Freedom will still be by your side, providing endless holidays for you and your family.
Oh The Adventures We’ve Had…
Over the years we have taken our caravans on a number of adventures. From the famous flying caravan, based on a Microlite body shell and featurd on a Top Gear episode, to taking one on a road trip through Europe and Africa before donating it to one of the local communities there.
We thrive on adventure, just like our customers, so keep your eyes peeled on our Facebook page to see what we get up to in the future.
